Foxy Tea (THM S)

Foxy Tea is the same libido boosting “hot” drink as the Foxy Coffee (see recipe here), just without the coffee.  You get all the same benefits without the coffee flavor….it’s a win win.

What are the benefits you ask?  Read on my darlings and be amazed. <3

Maca– a Peruvian herb, that is claimed to be an “aphrodisiac”, filled with incredible hormonal balancing properties through the enzymes it creates when ingested.   It also is claimed to both invigorate and energize you.

Coconut Milk– Full of yummy super fats, this wonder milk is claimed to also help with hormonal balancing, as well as immune boosting and disease fighting properties, it’s filled with a long list of vitamins noted as C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous.  I just want to have a constant supply of this stuff….it’s incredible to think it’s been created for our good…and wow how good it is really for us!! Cocoa Powder  Cocoa Powder provides fiber, iron and magnesium.  It also has antidepressant benefits with ability to boost endorphins and can boost serotonin.   There a legit reason to love love love your chocolate ladies.

Ingredients:

2 Oolong Tea Bags steeped in 2 cups of just boiled water (steep 3-5 min) (I use this brand)

2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder (the darker the better)(I LOVE this brand)

1/2 Cup Coconut Milk (go with the full fat here folks) Native Forest and Trader Joe’s Coconut Milk are both BPA free brands.

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Maca (Buy Here)

2-3 doonks of Stevia (Buy Here)

1.5 Tbsp Collagen (Buy Here)

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend for about 30-45 seconds, and serve….drink up!!  The rest is up to you.  😉

  1. Hi! When you say coconut, full fat here, do you mean the kind in the carton, like regular milk or do you mean the kind in the can for cooking with? Thanks!

  2. Do you have to include the maca? I don’t have that, and it’s pretty pricey.

  3. You say to use the full fat but then recommend the life version. A little confused LOL!

    1. sorry about that confusion….you can use the light or the full fat….I prefer the full fat personally. <3

  4. What can be used in place of the coconut milk? I’m not a fan of coconut at all.

  5. If you use unsweetened low fat almond milk (in place of the full fat coconut milk), would this still be an S ?? Or a FP ??

    1. This would become an FP recipe if you used Almond milk in place of full fat coconut milk.
