My 3 Pillars of Health & Workins DVD Giveaway!

I have had a mix of various health and wellness paths, plans, and products I’ve tried over my 40 years (yeah I’m 40…and I’m loving it!!!!)  I’ve had mild success in learning skills, fantastic bits of information, and practises from each new health or weight loss concept I’ve tried.  Some have been great, filled with practises I still carry out to this day.  Others have been not so great, filled with misinformation, and flashy promises without any payout.  Both are great learning experiences.  I’m happy to have the knowledge, layman as it is, as it’s helped lead me to the 3 major pillars I’ve leaned on now for some time.  These pillars have improved my health and weightloss journey immensely and I’m so excited to share them with you now.

Pillar #1 –  Nutrition

What you put into your body makes a HUGE difference.  The adage “You are what you eat” has a very real and tangible effect on your health and wellness.  The foods that nourish your body are whole, fresh, organic and uncomplicated.  Far from the isles of boxed ingredients, half of which you can’t pronounce.  Generally the simpler the ingredients, the better for you it is.  As many of you know, I fly the THM flag high and proud.  Serene and Pearl, the creators of Trim Health Mama, have shared an incredible tool to help lose weight, and promote healing in our bodies. (learn more about THM here)  I have embraced this plan for it’s whole food vision.  Clean eating at it’s best…..avoid the boxed Isles ladies and gents…this only makes your illnesses, and conditions worse.

You are worth the effort it takes to make food fresh, your body will thank you for throwing out the packaged, processed food, with all those unpronounceable ingredients.  Kick it to the curb and embrace the whole foods that nourish and help heal your body, you’ll see improved results and have a fun time trying delicious new recipes.

Listed at the very end of this post you’ll find a big ‘ol list of  some of my THM or Low Carb blogging buddies to help you find nutritious, delicious recipes to make your transition to whole food eating just that much more easy.

Pillar #2 –  Supplementation

The large number of people today still question the importance of taking supplements.  There are so many reasons why this is absolutely necessary……

The state of today’s commercial farming and agricultural techniques are leaving our soil’s deficient and depleted in important minerals.  This is causing the food grown in this soil to share the same mineral deficiencies.  We just aren’t getting the nutrients out of our food because of this.  Then after our nutrient deficient food is grown it’s then shipped and stored for long time periods leaching even more important vitamins such as B-complex and C vitamins.

The way we eat today plays a role as well.  We rush, we don’t chew our food as we should and this leads to poor digestion, and our bodies are left unable to extract all the nutrients it requires from our food.

There are so many GMO’d foods out there, and all for the sake of our aesthetic tastes and mass demand.   We have countless genetically bred crops of prettier looking fruits and vegetables farmed in mass quantity, which results in significantly lessened nutritional values than what the generations before us had.

Pollution plays a big role as our air, water and food may cause our bodies to use more nutrients than normal to simply detoxify and eliminate those harmful pollutants.  Specifically the antioxidant vitamins, some of which include vitamins A, C, and E.

The increased use of Pharmaceutical drugs is causing greater depletion of essential nutrients, making people susceptible to vitamin and nutrient deficiencies.  While those very deficiencies have led to health conditions like high cholesterol, hormonal imbalance, poor gut health, an increase of visceral fat,  systemic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, arthritis, birth defects, and cancer.  However, supplementation of those deficient nutrients and vitamins have been proven to prevent or aid in these areas.

You are wise to consult your qualified healthcare provider first to avoid any drug-nutrient interactions.  And  PLEASE avoid supplements with sweeteners, fillers, colors, artificial flavors, or preservatives.  Also keep in mind that kids should always take supplement formulas designed specifically for their little bodies.

I’ve aligned myself with a company whose mandate is all about health and wellness.  We offer THE best, most superior supplements on the market today, used and promoted by many healthcare professionals in their medical practices, with results unmatched by our competitors.  If you want take steps to regain your health today with this incredible line of supplements please contact me here.

Pillar #3 – Exercise (here’s the giveaway part)

Gone are the days of killing myself at the gym to try to match societies version of what a women should be.  Have you seen the pictures of women with huge muscles, and chiseled hard bodies?  Of course this appeals to some, but not to me personally.  I love the soft feminine curves we’ve been given.  I embrace my soft lines and sensual fullness that I feel is the height of femininity….but that’s just my opinion.  However, this opinion has shaped how I exercise.  You won’t find me killing myself for hours in a gym or fitness class.  I think we woman can achieve our fitness goals in much gentler ways.  I’m still working toward my goals, but I feel more equipped now with the knowledge and tools I have then ever before.  Big exciting fitnessy things are coming my way, I can just feel it!

I’ve embraced the Trim Healthy Mama Workins Fitness Regime.

Here’s what their website description is of their Workins DVD set says: “You don’t have time to waste or energy to burn on exercise methods that only get you bogged down in an exhausted, stressed-out rut. Trim Healthy Mama Workins are a ground breaking exercise method designed with your unique female body in mind. They will get you feminine fit within twenty minutes just a few times a week. If all you have is a “fiver” then don’t beat yourself up. We have five-minute options to squeeze into your busy day.”

The studies that are coming out supporting this micro approach to fitness is very encouraging for us ladies that don’t have the time, let alone the desire, to be living in our workout clothes, or at the gym or fitness studio.  We can crush our goals even if some days we only have 5 minutes.  This makes me happy!!!

So as excited as I am to be doing the THM Workins DVD regimine I am WAY more excited to share it with one of you lucky ladies.    So this is my giveaway.  I want to offer up a Workins DVD  to one of you sweet ladies to thank you for the continued support as I’m tickled pink you love following of my blog.  I always feel so blessed to be surrounded by a community of women so full of love for little ol me, and I want to return some of that LOVE back to y’all!!!
