Easy Alfredo Sauce Recipe
Some of the best recipes you come across are also the easiest ones to execute. This isn’t always the case mind you, but in this instance it is! YAY!! Happy Dance! Who doesn’t love easy? Just don’t be fooled by how easy this is, because this Easy Alfredo sauce is da BOMB!!!
I’m seriously ruined for life though, I can never order this when I’m at a restaurant as no one makes it like this. So reader beware….you may find yourself like me, easily disappointed over the other guys recipes from here on out……but that’s a price I’m willing to pay. 😉
Recipe:
3 Tbsp Butter
4 Cloves of Garlic minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (green can works fine here, but freshly grated is best)
2 tsp squeezed lemon
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp pepper
Instructions:
- In a large pan (I use a frying pan) melt butter on medium heat, add minced garlic and cook until the garlic browns ever so slightly.
- Reduce to medium low heat and stir in the heavy cream, let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese, stir in well.
- Add all remaining ingredients.
- Let simmer on medium heat until desired thickness is achieved then remove from heat and serve over lovely Dreamfields noodles, veg, chicken breast or as the sauce in a White Lasagna just like mine seen here.

Yes that is easy. Thanks for the recipe. I add a pinch of nutmeg to mine. I will try this!

Another winner Chrissy! Keep them coming. P.S. this recipe was so simple, my 10 yr old daughter made it with minimal help from me (I just stirred it so it didn’t curdle/burn)
Yay!! Gotta love that!! Thank you Lisa!
How many carbs?
I keep it simple. I just don’t do numbers. However, I do know this is very low carb.
Thank you for this! I used it for white sauce on my LC pizza, it was fantastic!
I can’t stop making this!! It’s a once a month meal for us. I serve it over some spinach- artichoke noodles with chicken. Thanks for such a delicious recipe.
I’m so glad you like it Cassidy…..It’s one of our favourites too!!!
