I call this ‘Almost Satay Sauce’ as the flavor is reminiscent of what Satay sauce should be, but just isn’t the real deal. This sauce is versatile and tasty, my kids love it, and I often have seconds!! 😉
Today we used it on our favorite meat loaf recipe, but we’ve coated chicken drums, chicken wings, and pork chops with this sauce, and all have turned out great!
Sauce Recipe:
¾ cup Sugar Free Ketchup
2 Tbsp Tamari
1 Tbsp Mustard
1 Tbsp Sugar Free Peanut Butter
1Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Chili Powder
¼ tsp Pepper
¼ tsp Salt
Combine all ingredients into a medium bowl.
Use on Chicken Wings, Drums, Thighs, or Breasts.
This sauce can be used on Chicken Drums or wings by placing meat and sauce in a zip lock baggie, and shaking to coat well, then bake as usual
On Meatloaf (as pictured above)
Make meatloaf as usual. Use a portion to coat top of meatloaf then bake as usual. Use some of remaining sauce to plated meatloaf.
