I’ve loved this drink for many reasons and many years. It’s original name is “Sex Coffee” *Blush* now there’s nothing wrong with the word sex, I just prefer the word Foxy as it’s a bit more discreet. <3 Besides tasting like you stepped into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, it’s also supposed to boost your libido which is never a bad thing….wink wink.
Let’s look at what’s in it and see what all the hype is about.
Maca– a Peruvian herb, that is claimed to be an “aphrodisiac”, filled with incredible hormonal balancing properties through the enzymes it creates when ingested. It also is claimed to both invigorate and energize you.
Coconut Milk– Full of yummy super fats, this wonder milk is claimed to also help with hormonal balancing, as well as immune boosting and disease fighting properties, it’s filled with a long list of vitamins noted as C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous. I just want to have a constant supply of this stuff….it’s incredible to think it’s been created for our good…and wow how good it is indeed!! (Read more on the wonders of coconut milk here) .
Cocoa Powder– Cocoa Powder provides fiber, iron and magnesium. It also has antidepressant benefits with ability to boost endorphins and can boost serotonin. There a legit reason to love love love your chocolate ladies.
Coffee– Loaded with antioxidants, boosts energy and can help you burn fat. (oh yeah baby!!!) Just one cup of coffee contains Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Manganese, Potassium, Magnesium and Niacin.
Cinnamon– Claimed to help treat erectile dysfunction and lowering blood sugar are just two of the crazy list of things cinnamon is used for. It’s simply another wonder food God has made for our good. (read much more about the wonders of cinnamon here)
**Updated Added Ingredient**
Collagen– The benefits of collagen are so great, it lubricates joints, reduces inflammation, helps in healing injuries, builds connective tissue, it helps regulate the body’s metabolism, encourages hormone balance, it promotes skin, hair and nail, health and strength, and it’s great for your gut health..by improving digestion. WOW, it’s just awesome. Collagen will always be in a pantry of wonder foods.
So there you have it! Health, energy, healing, balancing and libido boosting make this the drink that you’ve been waiting for. So now that you know all that excellent information you need to run, not walk, into your kitchen and make this hot (pardon the pun) cup of Joe!

*** Updated Added Ingredient***
1.5 Tbsp Collagen (Buy Here)

the link to the MACA doesnt load..where do you get that from?
I think I fixed it now <3
Sorry about that. 🙂
Hey. You know gowns feel about coffee. Think it would work with tea? 😉
I’m posting a coffee free version tomorrow 😉
Just to be sure, is this 1 serving? Thanks 😉
Yes, this makes one large serving.
Went to the Asian Market today. Asked the guy if he had heard of Maca- spelled M A C A. He very enthusiastically went and grabbed a little can of “Matcha green tea powder” for $12.00. Is that what I was looking for? Thanks
No sorry matcha and maca are two different things. It will be definitely be called Maca Powder.
The closest thing to me is GNC. They only have maca root powder capsules. Would that work if I just opened them up and sprinkled contents into drink??

Yes that would work beautifully!
Would this work with cashew milk? That is what I have on hand.
Yes you could use the 1/2 of cashew milk but I’d add 1Tbsp of coconut oil. When you get a chance get some bpa free Canned coconut milk though, the flavor is amazing!!
Thank you! Can’t wait to try this 🙂
Is this correct coconut milk? Amazon may save the day 😉 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VURVQ9Q?keywords=native%20forest%20coconut%20milk&qid=1452542077&ref_=sr_1_8&sr=8-8
Yes!!
Would this be ok without the maca? I don’t have any.
It Will still taste amazing, just not have the components Maca brings to the drink. I say go for it!!
My husband makes my coffee every morning and brings it to me in bed. Could I mix up all the ingredients minus the coffee and keep it in the refrigerator for him to add to the coffee in the morning? Or does it need to be made fresh each time?
I think that’s a brilliant idea!
Is this considered a supper or just a regular drink?
This is a drink to enjoy with an S meal.
I was told collagen comes from aborted embryos. It sounds like I was punked, but I’m still unsure
Yes you are punked, the type thm recommends is are hydrolyzed brands that are bovine (beef) derived, preferable grass fed. No aborted babies here.
