Chrissy’s Caesar Salad Dressing/ Dip

This is not your mama’s regular ‘ol Caesar Dressing ladies and gents.   My tasty take on the classic Caesar recipe yields a flavorful,  slightly zippy, distinguished dressing!! If you’re not a fan of blue cheese you can omit it entirely if you have to.  Though, I’d suggest giving it a go.  There’s not enough of the blue cheese flavor to overpower this recipe.  It’s just a slight flavoring that helps make this dressing super creamy.

You don’t have to buy that bottle of dressing anymore.  Instead you can forgo the preservatives and additives and just get 100% full flavor.

You can use this in a number of ways: Classic Caesar Dressing, a dip or on top of a lovely cucumber salad.  The possibilities are endless.  Hope you love it as much as I do! ♥

Ingredients

3/4 cup Mayonnaise

1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup Half & Half (aka Blend or 10% cream)

2 Garlic Cloves (Just make sure they aren’t too large, medium size cloves are perfect for this recipe, unless you’re looking to protect yourself from the undead than go for it…lol)

3 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese (the canned variety is ok here)

1 Tbsp Blue Cheese

1 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar

4 dashes Worcestershire Sauce

4 dashes Hot Sauce (I use original Tabasco)

1 pinch Cayenne Pepper

1 tsp lemon juice (from the bottle, 1 1/2 if fresh)

1/2 tsp Dry Mustard

Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions:

This is best made in a blender, why? Because it’s easier! lol.  I use my Ninja single serve blending cup for this, but you can get the job done in a regular sized blender as well.

  1. Place all ingredients in your blender of choice
  2. Blend for a minute or two
  3. Serve & Enjoy
  4. Store in the refrigerator after use.

*If you’re doing Trim Healthy Mama this dressing is an S.  This is an all around great sugar free, low-carb dressing.
