This Salted Caramel Whipped Topping is one of those super simple recipes that you can make in a cinch. You’ll wonder why it isn’t in your fridge all the time ready for a plump strawberry to be dipped in it…or smeared on top
of the Butterfly Wings Cake (page 301) from the THM Cookbook (buy here)
It only has four ingredients, and takes a mere 5 minutes of you time then you’ve got a great snack to go with berries, or the whipped heaven to your favorite muffin in a mug, or a dollop to top your favorite hot drink. It’s a winner big time!
Ingredients:
1 cup Whipping Cream
3 tbsp of Gentle Sweet (buy here) or sweetener of choice (see conversion chart for other sweeteners here)
1/2 tsp Mineral Salt
2 tsp Caramel Extract
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a deep bowl and whisk on high until stiff peaks form.
- NOTE for added richness add 1/2 cup of cream cheese to the bowl before whipping and whip until stiff peaks form.
Chill until serving.
